Ceremony honors soldiers deploying overseas

More than 150 area soldiers are preparing for deployment to Afghanistan. An Ohio National Guard “Call To Duty” ceremony took place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Piqua High School. In total, 155 soldiers with the 1487 Transportation Company are leaving for Operation Enduring Freedom.
