NCAA Game Summary - Wright State At Valparaiso

Valparaiso, IN -- (Sports Network) - Shawn Huff scored 17 points and converted a three-point play with one second remaining in overtime, lifting the Valparaiso Crusaders to a 75-73 win over Horizon League foe Wright State. Michael Rogers paced Valpo (19-12, 9-9 HL) with a 21-point, 12-rebound performance. Urule Igbavboa chipped in with 13 points and seven rebounds for the Crusaders, winners of four straight. Jordan Pleiman headlined the Raiders (20-9, 12-6) with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Todd Brown scored a team-high 13 points, and Will Graham tallied 12 in the loss. Valpo knocked down eight three-pointers in the first half while holding Wright State to 9-of-28 shooting from the floor, as the Crusaders took a 39-26 lead into the break. But Valpo went cold in the second stanza (9-of-32) while Wright State heated up, shooting 65 percent from the floor. Wright State's Scottie Wilson forced the extra session with a three-pointer in the final minute. Graham gave the Raiders a 73-72 lead with 19 seconds remaining in overtime, but Huff had the final say for Valpo, knocking down the game-winner with one second on the clock. Valpo out-rebounded Wright State by 11 boards, including a key 16-7 advantage on the offensive glass.
