This event is a fundraiser for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society to raise money to aid in research for a cure! The Emcees for the evening will be K99.1 FM's own Nancy Wilson and Steve Kerrigan! Steve Kerrigan is in remission with multiple myeloma, which is amazing news, but there is still no cure!

Draft horse pulled wagon rides are a fun way to explore the farm. Visitors will ride along with farmer John and will have the chance to discuss many interesting facts of farm life. Fees for wagon rides are $2 per person for the first ride, $1 for the second. Non members must pay admission to the farm in addition to wagon rides. Each ride lasts about 30 minutes.

Amish Quilt Auction

Location: Marie S. Aull Education Center
Cost: Admission is free.
Nearly 200 items including approximately 100 Amish made quilts and wall hangings will be sold. Many of the quilts were ordered more than 18 months ago. The designs are unique and many of the patterns are unavailable elsewhere. Amish women and men from New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Kentucky have pieced the quilts on treadle sewing machines. Several of the quilts have over 500 yards of hand-quilting. Some quilts have thousands of pieces of fabric. All of the quilting is hand-sewn. Hand-woven rugs, place mats, a variety of hardwood furniture including a white cedar bench and coffee table, baskets, wooden toys and quilted pillows will also be auctioned. Several antique quilts will be offered as well.

Nearly 200 items including approximately 100 Amish made quilts and wall hangings will be sold. Many of the quilts were ordered more than 18 months ago. The designs are unique and many of the patterns are unavailable elsewhere. Amish women and men from New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Kentucky have pieced the quilts on treadle sewing machines. Several of the quilts have over 500 yards of hand-quilting. Some quilts have thousands of pieces of fabric. All of the quilting is hand-sewn. Hand-woven rugs, place mats, a variety of hardwood furniture including a white cedar bench and coffee table, baskets, wooden toys and quilted pillows will also be auctioned. Several antique quilts will be offered as well.

Harvey has shared the platform with Billy Graham, Charles Colson, Elizabeth Dole, Dr. Tony Evans, Dr. Tony Campolo, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf and a host of others. He is contributing author to Parents & Teenagers (1984), and Moving Beyond Belief: Practicing the Presence of Christ in Your Daily Life (1993). Harvey and his wife Rita live in Columbus, Ohio.
