DAYTON, Ohio -- The city of Dayton is gearing up for Christmas and on Tuesday, they announced that its annual holiday festival will start on Nov. 27 with the Grande Illumination and the Dayton Children’s Parade.

The event starts at 4 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. at Courthouse Square.

The Dayton Holiday Festival is a month-long celebration that will continue through Decemeber.

Activities include a family movie series at the Neon Movies and the Tikes Shop.
