Winter Crisis Program Begins Nov. 2

DAYTON, Ohio -- November 2 is the first day for eligible households to receive help paying their winter heating bills.The Community Action Partnership of Greater Dayton will offer the Winter Crisis Program.Under the program, certain households may receive as much as $175 for a utility emergency and $600 for bulk fuel.Income eligibility for the program has increased to 200 percent of federal poverty guidelines, meaning income cannot exceed $44,000 annually.The program runs through the end of March 1020.For more information on the program, call Community Action Partnership at 1-866-504-7379.
