Cocoa is a gorgeous 8 year old female spayed Siamese mix. Her long-time owner sadly went to assisted living and entrusted us to find this sweet girl a new forever home. She is termed "special needs" in that she has a heart murmur. Fortunately, the condition has remained stable. In fact, she was just checked out by the vet recently, and the heart murmur has not gotten any worse. There is always that potential that it could worsen, though. Cocoa feels that she is special for other reasons, though :) She LOVES food, a comfy lap, keeping her litterbox tidy, and relaxing moments with people. She may be 8 years old, but she still likes to play! An indoor cat can live up to 20 years, so Cocoa has lots of fun years left in her. She is not real fond of other cats, so she would do best as the only cat. She would be great for an elderly person(s), as she has always lived with older people and enjoys their peaceful nature. Do you think you can give this gal a new loving home?! Please call the Humane Society at 268-PETS(7387) to set up an appointment for her foster home to bring her in to meet you today!
