  • Conde Nast Traveler readers voted on the top travel destinations in each region of the world, and Gustavia, St. Barthélemy, took the No. 10 spot. Read on to see the rest of the cities that won travelers' hearts.
  • An iconic shot of the Puente de la Mujer, built by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The city ranked ninth among Conde Nast Traveler readers.
  • San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, was another tourist favorite, ranking in at No. 8.
  • Above is the Mohammed Al Amin Mosque at Martyr's Square in Beirut, Lebanon. The city ranked seventh in the readers' poll.
  • Sydney, Australia – which ranked sixth in the poll – boasts attactions such as the Sydney Harbor Bridge Climb and the Sydney Opera House.
  • Vancouver ranked fifth among Conde Nast Traveler readers.
  • Bangkok, Thailand, took the No. 4 spot in the poll. Thailand's tropical capital is teeming with budget options for the penny-pinching traveler.
  • Here, tourists crowd the area in front of the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, also known as the Duomo, or main cathedral in Florence, Italy. Florence ranked third in the Conde Nast Traveler poll.
  • Here, Camps Bay Beach is overlooked by the Twelve Apostles in Cape Town, South Africa. The city was the No. 2 travel destination among readers polled.
  • Well-known for its Southern charm and historic homes, Charleston, S.C., took the top spot in Conde Nast Traveler's poll.
