Local Task Force Present Health Care Suggestions

DAYTON, Ohio -- A task force told Montgomery County Commissioners on how to get better health care for those in need after researching the problem of the uninsured in the county.On Tuesday, the Healthcare Safety Net Task Force presented a budget proposal and a detailed outline on how to help those who are in need in the Miami Valley.The commissioners asked questions and listened as members of the task force presented graphics, facts and figures on how to make sure the uninsured get better healthcare than they currently get.There were nine recommendations made, including finding new funding sources, reaching out to more people who are eligible for Medicaid and Caresource programs who do not take advantage of them.
