DAYTON, Ohio -- It's time to get a flu shot.

According to Dayton and Montgomery County health officials, an estimated 36,000 people in the U.S. die each year from the flu or flu complications.

Children six months to 18-years, and anyone over 50 is encouraged to get a flu shot.

Starting Monday, the Public Health Department of Dayton and Montgomery County is having a flu clinic at 117 South Main Street in Dayton.

The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The shot costs $28 for adults and $12 for children.
