Children With Chronic Illnesses Receive H1N1 In Warren Co.

SPRINGBORO, Ohio -- On Wed., Nov. 4, 2009, the Warren County Combined Health District will be giving the H1N1 vaccine shot to children with chronic illnesses.The clinic will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Springboro Jr. High, which is locate at 1605 S. Main Street. There will be no charge for the vaccine.Children who are 6 months old through 18 with a chronic illness will be eligible for the shot. Chronic illness examples are:Pulmonary including Asthma
Cardiovascular except hypertension
Renal
Hepatic
Cognitive
Neurological/Neuromuscular
Hematologic
Metabolic disorders, including diabetic mellitus
Immunosuppression caused by medications or caused by HIVIn order to receive the vaccination from the health department, your child will need proof of their chronic illness.
