Preble County Schedules H1N1 Clinics

Health officials in Preble County will be holding an H1N1 flu clinic on Thursday, Nov. 12 and Nov. 19 at the county faigrounds.

The fairgrounds is located at 722 S. Franklin Street in Eaton. The clinic will be held inside the Expo Center from 12-3p.m. and from 4-7 p.m.

The priority groups that will be eligible to receive the vaccine are:
* pregnant women
* People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age
* Health care and emergency services personnel
* Persons between the age of 6 months and 24 years old
* People ages 25 through 64 years of age who are at high risk for 2009 H1N1 because of chronic health disorders or compromised immune systems

ODH H1N1 FLU INFORMATION LINE - The Ohio Department of Health established a toll-free information line to answer questions from Ohioans about influenza and the vaccine. The information line phone number is 1-866-800-1404. On October 14, 2009 the ODH expanded its call center hours to 8 a.m. through 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
