Montgomery Co. Holds H1N1 Clinic

DAYTON, Ohio -- Public Health - Dayton and Montgomery County held a free H1N1 clinic at the University of Dayton Arena on Nov. 5 that included all the targeted groups.The groups include:
* pregnant women
* persons who live with or care for infants under 6 months old (includes parents, siblings, and daycare providers)
* health care and emergency medical services personnel
* people aged 6 months through 24 years old
* people aged 25 through 64 years old who have chronic medical conditions such as lung or heart disease, diabetes, or other immuno-compromised conditions that put them at higher risk for influenza-related complications.Participants will be required to to complete a flu vaccination consent form. The form is available for download at www.phdmc.org and will also be available at the clinic.The consent forms were available at local libraries in Montgomery County.The clinic was held from 2-7 p.m.
