What could be more fun than finding the Afikomen hidden in a bag you made yourself (with a little help from an adult)? Even for the non-sewing parents and kids, this is easy.

Make a trip to the fabric store and select something colorful -- you'll need less than 1/8 of a yard (about 11 inches by 17 inches).

Fold it in half and sew around three sides and turn it inside out. You can also use glue if you have a fabric that takes glue well (ask at the fabric store).

Then use a scissors or pinking sheers -- or, better yet, one of those fancy-shaped scissors often used for scrap-booking -- to trim across the top. Sew or glue Velcro or a snap on the top so the bag fastens. Use glitter, markers, stickers or whatever you want to decorate it, and viola -- you have a pretty little cloth bag in which to hid the Afikomen.
