Gas Prices Inch Closer To $4 A Gallon

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 – updated: 5:41 pm EDT May 13, 2008

People in many parts of the Miami Valley made a mad dash to gas stations Tuesday morning prior to fill up before gas prices rose to $3.95.9 a gallon.

Gas prices have continued to rise over the last few months, and now it appears that prices will hit the $4 mark sometime soon.

Around 9 a.m. some stations around the region raised the price of a gallon of gas to $3.95.9 while some stations north of Dayton in the Needmore Road area, continued to keep gas at $3.62.9 a gallon.

Some people told News Center 7, they were using their work breaks to fill up at a cheaper price.
