The State of Ohio is trying to help local residents who are battling foreclosure.

The state is sponsoring a "Borrower Outreach Day." It will take place Wednesday, August 20th.

You can attend the event between 2 and 8 p.m. at the University of Dayton Arena on Edwin C. Moses Blvd.

Local, state and federal housing experts will be on hand. Debt counselors and mortgage loan service officials will also meet with people one-on-one who are having problems making their mortgage payments.
