1 Million Pack And Plays Recalled

Officials said one million pack and play playpens are being recalled.

The pack and play’s side rail can fail to latch and if a child pushes against it, it could unlatch causing the playpen to collapse.

It has been reported that 21 children have been injured by the rail defect. The recall involves the Kolcraft Travelin Tot Pack and Play, as well as other similar pack and plays manufactured by Carter, Sesame Street, Jeep and Care Bare.

Babies R Us, Walmart, Kmart, Sears and Target stores sold them from January 2000 to January 2009.

If you have one of the pack and plays, immediately stop using it and contact Kolcraft for a free repair kit. The number is 1-866-594-4208.
