Burn Hazard Prompts Tea Kettle Recall

More than 140,000 tea kettles are being recalled.

The COPCO Harmony Tea Kettles lid can come loose posing a burn hazard if the kettle is full of hot water.

Second-degree burns to hands and fingers have been reported due to the kettle defect.

Major retailers sold them from March 2006 through last month.

If you have one of the kettles, do not use it and call 1-800-794-5866 for a free replacement or refund.
