Palladium-Item Eliminates 10 Jobs

RICHMOND, Indiana -- Jobs cuts were announced at a Richmond, Ind., newspaper on Thursday.

Officials with the Palladium-Item newspaper said it is eliminating 10 jobs. The cut backs will affect several departments, including news.

Gannett, which owns the newspaper and many others, including USA Today, is making the cut backs nationwide.

Gannett blames the economy and lower advertising revenue.
