14 Layoffs At Miami Valley Hospital

The Dayton region's largest hospital laid off more than a dozen employees.

Miami Valley Hospital officials said they let 14 employees go including nurses, office staff members and several other positions.

Of those 14 workers, two were offered other positions within the network and six were close to retirement.

All of them received severance packages.

Hospital officials said the layoffs will not affect patient care.
