Good Neighbor House To Relocate

Posted: 3:41 pm EST November 2, 2009

For more than 15 years the Good Neighbor House has been located on S. Patterson Boulevard, providing undeserved families and individuals with resources.

Now, the non-profit agency has purchased a new 12,000-square-foot facility in the 600 block of E. First Street in downtown Dayton.

With the new facility, GNH plans to expand its healthcare clinic with an emphasis on increasing dental care for Dayton’s under and uninsured populations.

The Good Neighbor House’s mission is to provide community development, family health and wellness through direct services, education and creative partnerships from faith-based services.

The Good Neighbor House is set to launch a special campaign in January 2010 that will help cover renovation and expansion costs. The agency expects to be in the new facility by Spring 2011.
