Elder-Beerman To Close Salem Furniture Store

TROTWOOD, Ohio -- Elder-Beerman’s parent company said it will close its Elder-Beerman Salem Furniture Gallery in Trotwood and open a furniture clearance center.The closing is scheduled for the beginning of December and will reportedly impact 10 employees.The retailer will convert the space at its Northwest store in Dayton into a clearance center for furniture and has scheduled the opening for mid-December.
