Elder-Beerman To Close Salem Furniture Store

Elder-Beerman’s parent company said it will close its Elder-Beerman Salem Furniture Gallery in Trotwood and open a furniture clearance center.

The closing is scheduled for the beginning of December and will reportedly impact 10 employees.

The retailer will convert the space at its Northwest store in Dayton into a clearance center for furniture and has scheduled the opening for mid-December.
