Verizon Cell Phone Service Restored

DAYTON, Ohio -- Officials with Verizon Wireless said they experienced an outage in the Dayton and Springfield areas on Friday.

The company said there was a problem with a switch, and had to reroute the switch in order to get customers back up and running.

Service was restored around 2:30 p.m. Friday.
