1 Fatally Shot In Apparent Home Invasion

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- Deputies in Clark County said one man is dead and another in critical condition after an apparent home invasion overnight.The shooting happened just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in German Township. Sheriff Gene Kelly said both men were shot multiple times.Investigators said the deceased man was found on the front porch. They said the other man was taken by Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital.Deputies said, at this time, the people inside the home fired in self-defense.
