HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Emergency crews in Huber Heights worked to clean up a mercury spill Tuesday afternoon in the 4500 block of Bufort Boulevard.
Officials said two women were cleaning out a fish tank when one of them broke a thermometer as she was getting ready to transfer some fish.
Fire officials called the Environmental Protection Agency to help with the cleanup.
The women were told to stay in the apartment until things could be declared safe.
No one was injured.
