Burglar Leaves Hole In Roof Of Local Business

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- The search is on for the burglar who broke into a Harrison Township business by cutting a hole in the roof.A delivery driver made the discover early Tuesday morning at the Genuine Auto Parts store on Salem Avenue.Investigators said whoever committed the burglary knew what they were doing.Deputies said the person or persons responsible got away with a small amount of cash and a safe that happened to have been empty.Capt. Jeff Papanak said, "They seem to know what they were doing by disabling the alarm and such. Obviously, didn’t get the payout in the end.”The manager of the store quickly called a roofer to fix the hole.Meantime, the search continues for the burglar.
