Rangers Search For Reported Alligator In Local Pond

VANDALIA, Ohio -- Park rangers were out in Vandalia Monday afternoon looking for an alligator in a local pond.
Officials said they received a call from someone who said they saw a six- foot-long alligtor in a pond off Johnson Road Sunday night.
Five Rivers Metro Park rangers said they searched but could not find any trace of the gator.
They said they will continue searching.
