Teen Dies In Crash, Remembered By Students, Friends
Troopers are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a 17-year-old.
Troopers said the teen, Ryan Jordan, lost control of his car while traveling southbound on Parker Road near Jamestown Wednesday afternoon.
They said the car drove off the roadway , hit a ditch and rolled several times.
Troopers said Jordan was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Investigators said they believe speed played a factor in the crash, but do not yet know how fast Jordan was traveling.
The crash remains under investigation by the Xenia Post of the Ohio State Patrol.
Friends and fellow students of Jordan's held a candlelight vigil at the Greenview High School Wednesday night.
