Judge Rules On Motions In Case Of Mother Accused Of Killing Child
A Dayton mother charged with killing her newborn baby girl by putting her in a microwave lost a battle in court this week.
Attorneys for China Arnold filed some 70 motions earlier this year in an attempt to keep evidence out of her trial.
A judge has denied some of those requests and said a jury will be allowed to see photos of the burned baby taken at the coroner's office for evidence.
Also if Arnold is convicted, a jury will be able to consider the nature and circumstances of the crime in deciding whether or not Arnold should be put to death.
