Eaton police said an officer had to be treated for heat exposure while investigating a suspected meth lab Tuesday night.

Police said they got information about a meth lab being operated inside a home in the 200 block of Nation Avenue.

They said when they arrived at the home they found an active meth lab.

Police said two people were arrested but the homeowner was not aware of the lab.

The home was evacuated and a cleanup crew called in.

The officer is expected to be OK .
