Xenia Woman Indicted In Ice Pick Attack

XENIA, Ohio -- A Xenia woman accused of attacking her roommate with an ice pick has been indicted on an attempted murder charge.Sandra Matthews-Johnson, 54, was also indicted on a felonious assault charge. Police said she stabbed Marie Tomlinson, 67, in the head with an ice pick.According to investigators, the attack happened two weeks ago inside a house in the 400 block of East Market Street.Officials said the ice pick had to be surgically removed from Tomlinson’s head.
