Bomb Threat Prompts Evacuations At WPAFB

WPAFB, Ohio -- Security forces at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base have evacuated a part of the base in the area of Gate 26C.The gate is located off Route 235 near Midway Road.Security forces said they are investigating a bomb threat made to the 445th Airlift Wing about 2:45pm Tuesday.A search of the area is underway and the evacuation order will remain in effect until the area is deemed safe.Stay tuned to News Center 7 and whiotv.com for more on the developing story.
