Woman Fights For Life After Double Shooting In Miami Twp.

MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Moments after a woman in Miami Township called 911, fearing for her boyfriend’s life, she was shot in the head and is now fighting for her life.Deidre Webster, 33, called 911 and shortly thereafter she was shot in the head. The shooting happened late Friday night in the 5000 block of Soldiers Home-Miamisburg Road.

Police said minutes later, Webster’s boyfriend, 49-year-old Charles Weidle, also called police. According to police, Weidle shot 38-year-old Richard Coyle, who later died. Police said that Coyle shot Webster, which then prompted Weidle to shoot Coyle.Investigators are looking to see if Weidle's shooting is a case of homicide of self-defense. At this time, police said Weidle has been released as an uncharged suspect.At last check, Webster is doing better. She has been upgraded from critical to serious condition.
