The attorney representing former Milton-Union High School assistant band director Anthony Spahr claimed school resource officer, Deputy Bryce Adams, used "trickery" to obatin a confession from his client.

Following nearly three hours of testimony on Thursday, a judge will decide to allow or disallow the confession.

A decision will come prior to the start of Spahr's jury trial scheduled to begin on April 15.

Spahr was recently indicted by the grand jury on two counts of sexual battery. Investigators accused the 28-year-old Spahr of sexual misconduct involving two high school girls.

If convicted as charged, Spahr could face a maximum of 10 years in prison.

Spahr resigned his position with the school district in October 2007.

He is free on bond.
