DAYTON, Ohio -- Despite the bad weather, turnout has been good for Tuesday’s presidential primary election.

Polling places around the Miami Valley are reporting moderate to heavy voting, and the race for the Democratic nomination is what is drawing so many people to polling places.

After weeks of aggressive campaigning, Ohioan’s will find out who will win Ohio. The battle has gone down to the very last minute with some supporters going to great lengths to make one last pitch for votes.

Outside a city recreation center in Dayton, Nathanial Conley has his grandmother stood in the cold and the rain to show their support for Hillary Clinton. The two came from Detroit to help the Clinton campaign.

With the wind and rain, there were some questions about whether people would turn out and vote, but some people were bound and determined to cast their ballot.

Barack Obama has the lead in the delegate county, Clinton is betting that Ohio will put her back in the race, and make her competitive enough to stay in the race for a few more weeks.

In Darke County, the Board of Elections reported a major problem.

The race for the 79th Ohio House District representative between Richard Adams and Joe LeMasters did not appear on the electronic ballot, but on paper ballots at 13 precincts.

The problem was discovered two hours after the polls opened. Unless voters noticed it, and voted on paper ballot for the race, they did not vote for the race, and will not be allowed to re-vote.

Memory Cards were re-programmed to fix the problem.

In Washington, D.C., don’t expect an endorsement from Sen. Sherrod Brown after Tuesday’s primary.

Tue first-term Democratic senator told News Center 7’s Scott MacFarlane that he will hold off until June or July, regardless of who wins Ohio.

By not endorsing, Brown said he is better able to convince Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to talk more about trade and NAFTA.

Brown said he predicts a very close race in Ohio Tuesday. His former U.S. House colleague, Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland has already endorsed Hillary Clinton.
