Local Community Leaders In Detroit To Talk About G.M.

Thursday, March 13, 2008 – updated: 3:24 pm EDT March 13, 2008

Local community leaders were up early Thursday morning to board a bus for Detroit.

Dayton Mayor Rhine McLin, Moraine City Manager David Hicks, and others are heading to the motor city to try and convince General Motors to keep the Moraine plant open.

General Motors has not committed to operating the plant past the life of the S-U-V they currently make.

The group is expected back around 6:45 p.m. Thursday. We will have more on this developing story after their return.
