Police: Sidney Woman Confesses To Stabbing, Robbery

A Sidney woman is in jail after confessing to stabbing a man with a razor blade after breaking into his home in Troy, police report.

Magistrate Gary Zuhl called Michelle Ewing to the camera through a video arraingment when she immediately said she has something to say.

Ewing told the magistrate that what she had done was done all by herself. She is accused of stabbing and cutting 60-year-old Jimmy Crabtree and robbing him of money, money that she wanted to use to buy crack cocaine, according to court documents.

Police in Troy have charged four other friends of Ewing with obstructing justice and a charge of complicity of aggravated robbery.

Ewing, in her own confession, attempts to clear her four friends of any wrongdoing. The magistrate ordered a high bond.

Crabtree, an individual with developmental disabilities remains under treatment.
