XENIA, Ohio -- The coroner took the stand Wednesday in the trial of a Xenia woman accused of stabbing her roommate with an ice pick.Jurors heard evidence in the case against Sandra Matthews who is charged with aggravated murder.Prosecutors said Matthews stabbed 67-year-old Otte Marie Thomlinson in the head last fall. Thomlinson later died of her injuries.The defense in the case is not expected to begin presenting evidence until at least Thursday.
