Former Band Director Awaits Judge’s Decision On Plea Withdrawal

TROY, Ohio -- A former assistant band director at Milton-Union High School is waiting for a judge’s decision on whether he will allow Anthony Spahr to withdraw his recent plea of no contest in a sex case involving high school students.Spahr’s motion to withdraw his April 11 no contest plea to two counts of unlawful sexual conduct comes after the investigating officer in his case was placed on administrative leave.School resource officer Deputy Bryce Adams, who filed the charges against Spahr, faces allegations that he engaged in inappropriate behavior with a 17-year-old girl from Newton High School.The investigation of the complaint against Deputy Adams is currently being investigated by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.
