Xenia, OHIO -- Gas prices have reached record highs, but not all drivers are paying them.

Some drivers are filling their gas tanks up with fuel and driving off without paying for it.

Xenia police said they have handled four cases the past month. The most recent investigation took place at the Shell station on Bellbrook Avenue.

The owner of the Marathon gas station on West Second Street in Xenia installed surveillance cameras in effort to deter theives. Clerks said the cameras work. The gas station has had only a few gas thefts since the cameras were installed four years ago.
