SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- Authorities in Springfield said a 13-year-old, home sick from school, was assaulted by two masked men inside her home.

The home invasion happened on East Euclid Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police said that two masked men broke into the house through a back window. Once inside, police said, the men found the teenage girl inside one of the bedrooms.

The girl’s father said the two men roughed up his daughter while they looked for things to steal.

Police said South High School was locked down while officers searched for the suspects.

At this time, officers have one person in custody.
