Springfield Father Gets 65 Years In Abuse Case

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- A Springfield father will spend the next 65 years in prison for abusing and torturing his adopted children.James Ferguson was found guilty on 25 of the 30 charges against him.Officials said Ferguson’s adopted children testified that he repeatedly beat them with belts, sticks and hammers.Ferguson’s wife, Vonda Ferguson, faces similar charges. She is expected to go on trial in July.
