No Deal Reached To Keep Antioch Open

YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio -- No deal has been reach for Antioch.The alumni group trying to negotiate deals with Antioch University Trustees said the trustees rejected their plan to keep the college open.The group offered a large, multi-million dollar donation in exchange for 10 seats on the 19-member Board of Trustees, which would give it a majority vote.The group had been negotiating with University officials since December, to buy the college and make it an independant institution.Trustees said the college will close in June for at least a year.
