Eighth Grader's Threats Force School Lockdown

A student st the Jefferson School in Dayton was taken into custody Friday, after allegedly making threats that forced a building lockdown.

Officials say the school was on lockdown for approximately two hours.

Dayton police said two students got into a fight and then left school without permission. A 15-year old student then allegedly threatened to return to school with a gun.

Officers met the boy at his home and took him into custody. The other student was not injured.

The incident remains under investigation.
