Man Wanted In Alleged Standoff With Police

FAIRBORN, Ohio -- Police in Fairborn are looking for a man they said caused officers to wait on him for five hours outside a house.Officers were called to the Pat Lane house around 8 p.m. Sunday night on a report of domestic violence.Police said officers arrived and believed that David Alvis was inside the home armed with a gun. They said they were talking with him on his cell phone.Officers surrounded the house and asked nearby neighbors to leave their homes as a precaution.According to police, Alvis was not inside the home, and had left the residence prior to officers arriving at the home.If you have any information on Alvis’ whereabouts contact Fairborn police.
