Juvenile In Court On Charge Of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide

CLARK COUNTY, Ohio -- There was a tearful testimony Tuesday from two mothers inside a Clark County courtroom and one woman talked about her son, who was killed earlier this year. The other mother talked about her teenage son, who was accused of causing that crash.Lashawn Gaston, 32, was killed Jan. 23 at the intersection of Sunset Avenue and Selma Road in Springfield, police said.Police said Allen Michael McClanahan, 17, is charged as a juvenile with aggravated vehicular homicide.Prosecutors said they are seeking to have tried him as an adult.McClanahan’s mother took the stand in court and said that this is a tragedy for both families.The judge was expected to make a written ruling within the next week.
