SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- Tuesday marks the end of decades of history in Springfield.

Students at Springfield North and Springfield South high schools will no longer be attending separate schools. Both buildings are closing and all of the students will be attending classes together in September at a brand new school.

School officials have been getting ready for months, but it will still be difficult for some teachers, many of whom have spent decades in the building.
