Air Canada Returns To Dayton International Airport

Officials at Dayton International Airport announced Tuesday morning that an old airline is returning to Dayton.

Air Canada is headed back to the Miami Valley sometime this summer.

Officials at the airport said service will begin on July 15 with non-stop flights between Dayton and Toronto. The first flight is expected to leave at 9 a.m.

Dayton Mayor Rhine McLin, along with other city officials were on hand at the airport to make the announcement.

Dayton city leaders said Air Canada’s return will bring new jobs and money to the Miami Valley.
