GM Moraine 2nd-Shift Workers To Return To Work

Posted: 11:59 am EDT May 27, 2008Updated: 12:29 pm EDT May 27, 2008

Officials at General Motors Moraine Assembly Plant announced Tuesday morning that all second-shift workers will return to work on June 2.

It has been more than two months since the Moraine plant has produced an SUV.

The work stoppage at GM was caused by a lack of parts from an American Axle strike.

Workers at American Axle approved a new contract earlier this month.
