FAIRBORN, Ohio -- Authorities said a man was arrested after he was found performing sex acts at a local hotel with a child nearby.

Benjamin Fyffe was caught performing a sex act by a hotel pool in Fairborn.

Investigators said he has confessed to the crime. He appeared in court Tuesday morning and pleaded guilty to four counts against him.

On Monday afternoon, police were called to the Wright-Patterson Hotel on Broad Street, and were told that a man was seen nude by the pool, performing a sex act.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the man hiding in a hallway still performing sexual acts.

Officers said Fyffe tried to run, but he was quickly caught. Police said he was performing the sex act while watching a child who was nearby washing a car.

In court, Fyffe pleaded guilty to criminal trespass, obstructing official business and two counts of public indecency.

Authorities said Fyffe is also believed to be connected with a series of similar crimes in Fairborn that have happened within the last week.
