Obama Schedules Dayton Visit
Town Hall Meeting Set For Friday At Stivers

DAYTON, Ohio -- Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama has scheduled a town hall meeting in Dayton Friday at Stivers High school.According to the Montgomery County Democratic Party, tickets for the 11 am event are required.Tickets will be available from party headquarters at 131 South Wilkinson Street on a first-come, first-serve basis Thursday from 4-8 pm.The doors at Stivers are scheduled to open for the event beginning at 10:30 am Friday.Obama has been traveling the country this week holding a series of town hall meetings about the economy.During the primary battle in February with Sen. Hillary Clinton, Obama held a rally with more than 10,000 supporters at Wright State University.Clinton won the Ohio primary, but Obama won Montgomery County and eventually a majority of delegates and superdelegates.Jim.otte@whiotv.com
